Partnerships with consortia

Pearson will work with BSF consortia to:
- Build specific programmes, based around local needs, that blend teaching and learning resources, curricula and assessments which are both innovative and practical.
- Provide teaching and learning resources and qualifications which are designed to work together and thereby deliver results. We provide resources that support students and teachers through educational phases from KS2 to vocational, helping to raise attainment by ensuring strong continuity and progression through the key stages.
- Improve the motivation and morale of teachers by giving them the tools they need to do their jobs. Designed to be practical and manageable, our solutions are developed and tested by teachers to save preparation time and to be effective in the classroom and at home. This gives teachers the time and support they need to inspire their students to achieve their best.
- Empower schools with the real-time data they need. Our web-based information systems are designed for the education environment and deliver rich pupil data - available anywhere, anytime - to teachers, schools and local authorities.
- Enable genuine engagement with parents: for example, through parent and student workshops, adult literacy and numeracy programmes that build parents’ confidence in basic skills, and through our web-based information systems that give parents easy access to data on their children’s performance and attendance.
- Providing on-site project management implementation and training, which reduces the administrative burden for local authorities implementing their BSF programmes, and ensures the effective use of resources.
